Designs by Michael, LLC works with you to achieve two primary goals: we seek to give you the most functional and efficient layout possible for your new kitchen or bath. Along the way, we will help you find your style, creating space that will reflect your individual tastes, personality, and desires. We will work to keep your project on time and within budget, and insure that no detail is omitted. To accomplish this, we follow a step-by-step approach that incorporates your input every step of the way. From our first in-home conference to the final review, we will assist you through the decision making process.

 Initial Consultation – Our initial consultation takes place in your home and we will lay the foundation for the entire project. At this meeting we will discuss style, your goals, the scope of the project, your budget, and our flexible fees to design, order, and implement your dream kitchen, bath or multiple room remodel.

Conceptual Design – From this initial meeting, we will develop an accurate floor plan and the current placement of appliances, plumbing, and fixtures. We can look for alternate layout options that will make your kitchen more user friendly and functional. We will also discuss your plans to keep or replace appliances, fixtures, cabinets, surfaces, lighting fixtures, and other details to make your new space unique to you and your family.

Design Development – Using the information we have learned, we will develop a design plan which includes a defined color palate, lay out with changes, and detailed product list of all parts and vendors selected. The design is not complete until you are happy. We will work with you to get a price that is acceptable to your budget and will show you ways to reduce costs and save money. The design is not complete until you, the customer, is satisfied.

Presentation – In order the allow you to visually grasp the new look of your project we will provide 3-D computer images of the new look before we order so that you can understand the tremendous impact of your new space. We can provide a door sample and help with combining the cabinet finish, counter top, flooring, paint, tile, etc. so that you can envision how your new kitchen or bath will look.

Implementation – One of the benefits of working with Designs by Michael, LLC is that we are insiders and work to keep abreast of the latest developments in appliances, finishes, fixtures, etc. and we know the latest trends in the kitchen industry. We also know the quality of our vendors, installers, contractors, and work to get you the best prices for materials and labor. We may ask you to accompany us on buying trips or to look at materials and color matches. In the end we will place the orders and arrange delivery so that we maximize your valuable time.

Installation – At Designs by Michael, LLC, we are personally invested in the success of your project. We are more than happy to review contractors to ensure the work is up to specifications. Our installers are the best in the business and are as committed as we are to your project.

Quality Review – At the end of the project, we will do a final walk through to ensure you are happy with the job and that we have met all the original objectives for your project.

Project Closeout – After the project is complete and we have done the walk through we will check back during the next week to ensure you are happy with our work. We hope your new space will cause you to tell your friends about Designs by Michael, LLC.
